ASTRA Foundation was founded in 2003 and incorporated in Sofia City Court under company case №10572/2003 with seat and registered office in Sofia, 113 Kniaz Boris I Str. Registered in the Central Registry of Corporate Entities engaged in non-profit activities for the public good under №2003101601, the entity is performing its activities on address: Sofia, 35 Hristo Botev Str., 3-rd fl.

Since The Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption (or Hague Adoption Convention) came into force in Bulgaria, ASTRA Foundation had received three licences to act as an accredited organization intermediating in international adoptions as it follows:

License № 10/23.12.2003 of the Minister of Justice of Republic of Bulgaria to act as an accredited organization intermediating in international adoptions in the following countries: Andorra, Belgium, UK, Italy, Canada, Luxembourg, Malta, France, Switzerland and USA;

License № 68/28.06.2006 to act as an accredited organization intermediating in international adoptions in the following countries: Andorra, Belgium, UK, Italy, Canada, Luxembourg, Malta, France, Switzerland and USA;

License №112/15.03.2010 to act as an accredited organization intermediating in international adoptions in the following countries: Andorra, Belgium, UK, Italy, Canada, Luxembourg, Malta, France, Switzerland and USA, which is valid until 15.05.2015 according to Order 2/ 24.10.2014 of the Ministry of Justice.

License №186/05.05.2020 to act as an accredited organization intermediating in international adoptions in the following countries:
Belgium, Italy, Canada, United States of America, France and Switzerland.
